Suasrov Project
About the Project
The Projects client, ‘Suasrov’, are investing in a fleet of vehicles (Mercedes Sprinter vans) that they use to travel to sites and train. The main objective is to design an Interior Fit-out that meets the client's requirements.
Ensuring ways to fit out a space or module inside the vehicle, providing as multi-functional as possible. In this case, inspired objectives are micro-apartments and provide the most functional aspects in tight-fitted areas.
The functional space needs to hold.
- Drone storage
- Battery Charging
- Maintenance
- Online training
- Eating
- Relax/sleeping.
The overall design’s considerations provide some camper van aspects to use for leisure but not the sole objective. It must represent the business in its professionalism. Depending on locations/ sites around Australia, they would like to have all the essentials while having their business set up on the fly. Applying their training activities via equipment and drones stored on the Van. So, the design has distinct aspects of the “camper van” idea, respecting the business attributes. Construction, the client specified to use of a T-slot Aluminum extrusion system to structure the design. 80/20 Aluminum is the primary material for the frame structure but is allowed to utilise other materials in addition to this system. So, the setup must be functional, and practical and gives off an aspect of the Van life.
